A customer in Coventry needed a new key for their Vauxhall Corsa 2016. We attended on-site and had two fully programmed flip keys ready within the hour — no dealer, no recovery truck, no waiting.
The Job
The Vauxhall Corsa E (2014–2019) uses a flip-key format with a transponder chip that must be coded to the immobiliser. The key blank needs to be cut to the correct profile and then written to the car's ECU via OBD connection — we carry the equipment to do both steps on the driveway.
We cut and programmed two new flip keys, tested both fully before leaving. Customer had a working key and a spare without setting foot in a dealership.
Vauxhall Corsa — One of the UK's Most Common Cars
The Corsa is consistently one of the best-selling cars in the UK, which means lost and broken Corsa keys are an everyday job for us. We carry Corsa-compatible key blanks as standard and can usually attend the same day across Coventry and surrounding areas.
Having a spare programmed at the same visit costs very little extra and saves a second call-out if the original is ever misplaced again.
Vauxhall Models We Cover
