BMW Key Technology
BMW has used several immobiliser generations: EWS3/4 (1990s–2005), CAS1–CAS4+ (2003–2014) and FEM/BDC (2014–present). Most keys use HU92 or HU100 blade profiles with ID44, ID46 or PCF7953 transponder chips. Current models use diamond-cut comfort access keys.
